      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Hi all, a simple question I believe though my mind doesn't remember the method. I wish to make it so that the calculator application that comes with the iMac starts up automatically when I turn on my computer. I use it a lot. Can you remind me how to do this? I think I put an alias into some folder, but can't remember now.<xhtml:br/>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">This is how I would do it<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
from the Apple Icon - top left of the screen select System Preferences<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Then select <xhtml:br/>
User &amp; Groups<xhtml:br/>
Then select<xhtml:br/>
Login Items<xhtml:br/>
Then press the + sign  to show the applications in your Application folder<xhtml:br/>
Then select the apps you want to start at start up time <xhtml:br/>
Then close the User and Groups and shut down the machine and test</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">If you open it and then right click on it in the dock and go to the options menu you will see open at login click on that and it will open at login</xhtml:div>
