Hi
Could anyone,who has had any experience of valuing second hand iMacs, give me an indication of what the following may be worth:-
iMac 20inch,Mid 2007
Processor 2.4GHz intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4GB 667 MhzDDR2 SDRAM
Operating System - OS X El Capitan ( version 10.11.6 )
This could be for sale sometime in the next 2 months.

Hi John

A quick dive into Google brought up both 24" and 20" in the region of £230-£250. Heartens me because mine is a 24" but with a 1TB SSD!

You could check the "Buy it now" prices on eBay - ignore any from a dealer who will be giving a warranty.

Another place to get a price is CeX. I'm a big fan because they buy based on a test in the shop and sell with a 2 year warranty (which is more than Apple offers on new products).

You can check their website for their current price (make sure you read the 'buy for cash' price). That price is what the shops will give you so is a useful guaranteed minimum value (just be aware that their prices change so check just before making a trip to the shop).

Just been on the website, quite a wide variation in the prices but at least it gives me an idea when I come to sell mine.
