Is it possible to download a YouTube video to an iPad for use at a venue without wi-fi?

Michael, there are probably iPad apps that will download directly, but I know of a couple of good ways to do it on a Mac. If you have Firefox, the Video DownloadHelper add-on works very well https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
For a standalone YouTube downloader, 4K is equally good...

For a downloader converter on the mac you might look at https://www.aimersoft.com/mac-video-converter-ultimate.html. It costs, but is very good.

Thanks both - I'm still hoping to find out how to download videos using an iPad though!
