Our presentation this month was dedicated to the iPad A to Z by Mick and Brian, as much about the iPad in the time, from the basics to more advanced.

We went through the alphabet for iPad and some of iPhone features, Mick started with Apple pay, Emergency (iPhone) where you can enter contacts and information in case of an accident, Using your fingerprint as security to start up.

Dictation to get the iPad to enter the words as you speak and read text, Jiggle to move or delete icons, Messages, like texting on your mobile Notes including using the speech, taking a photo, finishing with z time, there was quite a lot of questions from members on the way with members trying out some of them as we went along.

The letter Y was represented by Your turn, giving members a chance to tell us about their favourite apps

These included, Jane explaining iBooks, that allows changing the colour to help some readers to adjust the pages and the text to suit their eyesight.

Jola showed how she uses Duo Lingo to help to learn Spanish, there are loads of languages available with this app.

David showed Reminders that can be used to enter items that can be shared with others.

Annie explained how to use bed time section of Clock to help with sleep patterns.

This was quite a lively meeting and hopefully something was new was discovered.
